Founder; Matt Haycox launched The Matt Haycox Foundation at a star-studded event alongside celebrity guests, including TOWIE star Kate Wright and singer/songwriter Simon Webbe at The Houses of Parliament in the first of many exciting events for the charity.
The foundation launch, inspired by Matt’s experience of helping 9-year-old cerebral palsy sufferer Alfie Smith in raising £50,000 for a life-changing operation, which would enable him to walk unassisted and pain-free, is set to be the start of a series of entertaining and informative fundraising events for the charity.
The celebs and other guests partied the night away alongside Matt at the drinks reception and dinner, which aimed not only to raise funds but also awareness of just who the foundation will help and how.
The Matt Haycox Foundation will support a variety of great causes including disadvantaged people, and other charities across the UK, Matt stated:
“The Matt Haycox Foundation aspires to raise funds to ensure cases like Alfie’s receive the financial backing and emotional support they require. My business success has given me the privileged position and the financial resources to support my charity work, but it has also given me a fantastic contact base to tap into, so we can ensure the foundation gets off to a flying start.”
The Matt Haycox Foundation has pledged to donate a minimum of £100,000 in funds, plus Matt’s personal support to families and those in need.
“As you can see from our launch, we do events like no other, we want them to be fun, entertaining and informative. The key is we want people to want to attend our events and see why donating is worth every penny, and they might just enjoy donating too!”
Following the success of the launch event, The Matt Haycox Foundation will continue to host fundraising events in order to help people like Alfie and others live a better life. Keep an eye out on our website clicking here to find out about our next upcoming events.
